Real Estate News You Need

Welcome back, readers! We launched WHAT’S UP SOUTHEAST VALLEY with the intention of giving you the real estate news you REALLY need WHEN you need it. Last month we ran through our top predictions for 2018 and how buyers and sellers can start taking advantage of the market NOW. Amidst wrapping presents, hanging lights, entertaining friends and family - people are actually out there buying homes. Maybe one of them is you. Maybe there's no way that's you. We're just here to report the news folks, and buy you some hot cocoa to get you through it. Missed the details? Catch all of our WHAT'S UP SOUTHEAST VALLEY editions and let's grab a cup of joe!

Market Update

Experts are in good spirits as they predict a competitive market for 2018 that is ALSO good for buyers. Maybe it's all of the gingerbread caramels we've been eating from D'Vine Gourmet or the extra shots we've been getting in our espresso from the Strada Espresso Bar at Liberty Market but we're absolutely giddy about what's to come for the Valley. With low inventory levels and healthy demand, we expect rising property values for sellers and quickly earned equity for buyers getting into the market. In elf terms? Presents of all shapes and sizes under the tree for everyone!

Now, we know that there is a grinch around every corner and we're not oblivious to the rumblings about proposed changes in tax laws and capital gains rules that might be tempting you to add coal to your stockings, but don't do it! Come back for our January edition where we'll have a special guest columnist break it down for you! Can't wait? Call us at (480) 250-3857 to set up an appointment with one of our team members to talk it out or event better, press this little red button right here and contact us today!

In Other News...

Now that we've got the numbers out of the way and we're all feeling generally good about our future, we want to share a few more thoughts that will make you all warm inside like a hot summer afternoon at the splash pad  or a big ol' bowl of spinach tagliatelle from La Calbria

Giving Back

We LOVE helping others - in fact, its sort of what we DO by design. We help people find homes, we help people sell homes, we play many different roles (including the often not discussed therapist role) and we truly love all of them. At the holiday season, we are INSPIRED by all of our past clients who give SO much of themselves to their communities and each year we pick a few that really ring our bell and we join in on the fun.

Sunshine Acres Children's Home in MesaOur past clients Bill & Max brought this amazing opportunity to our attention. Thanks to them, we were able to be a part of sponsoring 101 children & adults from Sunshine Acres Children's Home on a magical trip to the Polar Express train through Williams, Arizona along with holiday books & CDs for the adventure. Sunshine Acres is MORE than just a home for children in need - and we encourage you to visit their website, take a tour, and learn more about how to help Sunshine Acres throughout the year.

Gilbert Fire & Rescue Family AdoptionThanks to the great folks at our brokerage, Keller Williams Integrity First, we were introduced to the family adoption program and the Giving Tree program. We picked a few really great tree tags with presents for children of all ages and our team had a blast picking out gifts that would soon be given to kiddos in the area. If you are looking for ways to get involved at the holidays with a small group or even looking to adopt a family AS a family, we'd definitely recommend syncing up with Gilbert Fire & Rescue. And incidentally, if you are looking for a brokerage, it is no wonder Keller Williams was named The Happiest Company to work for in 2018 by Forbes Magazine.

Being Thankful

Sometimes we're moving so fast that we forget to take a look back at what we're thankful for and WHO we're thankful for. We thought it would be fun to ask a few of our trusted partners about their most memorable moments in 2017, What's on their Christmas wishlist of someone they know (and WHO wants it SO SO bad) and what their wish is for the world. We're so grateful for ALL of the folks who help us help our clients and so appreciate them playing along with this little holiday quiz!

Living in the Moment

Usually we plug our favorite hometown happenings at the end of our newsletter but this month there are just so many EXCITING events that we want to be a part of and SEE YOU be a part of, that we've compiled a BONUS list of holiday events for you here. See one we're missing or one YOU are excited about being a part of? Email it to us at [email protected] and we'll add it to the list!
